2024 October: Published the Parsley guide in bookdown format.

2024 October: Released an updated version of our Parsley app (v1.1.0). Parsley is a web application built to automate plate reader data preparation for downstream analysis. Read more about Parsley here and the paper here. Summary of what’s new in v1.1.0 is here.

2024 October: Abstracts accepted for Synthetic Biology UK! Looking foward to heading to Cambridge in November!

  • Absolute protein counting across the visible spectrum (Csibra and Stan)
  • A dual-function bacterial secretion tool derived from a natural translational regulator (Sarkar, Ceroni, Ledesma-Amaro, Stan and Csibra).

2024 September: Joined the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology, at Leeds.

2024 August: Research visit to sunny Bristol with the Gorochowski lab and gave research seminar on Counting protein and RNA molecules with fluorescence.

2024 July: Attended UK iGEM Meetup at University of Warwick to mingle with this year’s crop of iGEM teams and present an invited talk on reproducibility: If our data are not reproducible, are we really engineering?

2024 July: Presented on our latest ribosome engineering work at Translation UK (Surrey): Engineering orthogonal ribosomes for real-time monitoring using fluorescence.

2024 July: Started my group as a lecturer at the School of Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Leeds!
